Insulating crawlspaces can be done in two ways: via the ceiling for a vented crawlspace or via the walls for an unvented crawlspace. Genyk spray foam insulation can be applied in both ways to address common issues associated with uninsulated or poorly insulated crawlspaces.

Insulating crawlspaces with spray foam insulation can eliminate the probability of cold and uncomfortable floors above, as well as minimize the risk of buckling hardwood floors resulting from moisture buildup.

HVAC systems can work more efficiently in a foam insulated unvented crawl space since they will be in a better temperature environment. Plus, infiltration of air and accompanying moisture can be minimized to preventing condensation on the ductwork.

Spray foam insulation allows for an effective air seal in a traditionally difficult-to-insulate space as well as increased durability of the structure.
